I make films that explore human nature in ways that are humorous and unexpected.
My films tend to live in the space where darkness and comedy collide, stories about flawed people in impossible situations, female protagonists navigating a world that wasn't designed for them, and the strange magic that lives inside ordinary life.
Based in London, originally from Aotearoa. Member of Directors UK and Women in Film and Television UK. In 2018 I was named one of the Top 20 Rising Female Filmmakers in the UK. In 2022 I was invited to the Reykjavik International Film Festival Talent Lab. My short Voices screened at over forty festivals worldwide including Academy qualifying Seattle International Film Festival and BAFTA qualifying Aesthetica, winning seven awards. My short Testing Greta took the Greeks of the World Prize at the Drama International Film Festival in Greece.
